On 25 September 2023, VTT, STAM and Greenovate! Europe participated in the “Pitch Perfect and Boost European Bioeconomy” event, hosted by Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant.
The conference focused on industrial bio technology innovation, including bio-based chemicals, materials and bioenergy. The event served as a dynamic hub for fostering cross-border collaboration and cross-sectoral innovation.
It brought together industry leaders, innovators, and investors, all sharing a common goal – to shape the future of our European Bioeconomy.
Riccardo Capolla from STAM had the opportunity to pitch and present the INN-PRESSME Open Innovated Test Bed (OITB). The presentation focused on the main mission of the INN-PRESSME project:
– Developing market-ready bio-based products: the project deals with creating innovative products and goods from bio-based materials through the conversion of raw materials. The secret sauce? Nano-enabling, which enables these materials to match and exceed the performance of current fossil-based materials
– Supporting the digital transition: INN-PRESSME will provide companies with comprehensive data and lifecycle value chain modelling tools. These tools are key to advancing industrial production, covering every aspect from raw material conversion to material processing.
Creating a network of innovators is an integral part of our approach to promoting bio-based materials, and the INN-PRESSME digital platform can help the industry promote stakeholder and customer engagement.
